User manual

This manual is for competition staff and music volunteers who run IceTrackVault during figure skating events. It focuses on day-to-day tasks: loading projects, playing music, fixing common issues, and maintaining stored collections outside a single competition.

If you are setting up the app for the first time, start with Getting started for installation and your first project.

Contents

  • Getting started — install IceTrackVault and create your first competition project from EMS downloads.
  • Managing projects — multiple competitions on one PC, the Projects hub, and lock modes.
  • Using the music player — playback, waveforms, playlists, and event order during the competition.
  • Solutions for common situations — missing tracks, wrong uploads, swaps, and other fixes before and during the event.
  • Stored collections — permanent libraries such as national anthems and continuous-play playlists, separate from competition projects.
  • Phone upload setup — Cloudflare tunnel and IceTrackVault settings for uploading tracks from a phone.
  • Best practices — staying safe while moving from iTunes: backups, lock modes, recovery, and phone upload timing.
  • Contact us — feedback and support via GitHub issues or the contact form.
